The Problem:
Conventional street lighting systems are a major source of energy wastage in cities, operating on fixed schedules with little to no real-time monitoring. Street lights alone account for 30-40% of a city’s total electricity consumption. Inefficient operation leads to excessive power usage, delayed fault detection, and unnecessary maintenance visits. This not only increases operational costs for urban authorities but also significantly contributes to a higher carbon footprint, making traditional lighting systems unsustainable for growing cities.
The Solution:
To overcome these challenges, KasperTech developed Luminox, a smart electric load controller that upgrades existing street lighting infrastructure with AI and IoT based automation. Luminox enables real-time monitoring, intelligent scheduling, instant fault detection, with AI based smart alerts. helping authorities reduce energy wastage, lower operational costs, and significantly cut carbon emissions without the need for complete infrastructure replacement.
